I have worked closely with the business to better identify members leading the MDM team / QA team to identify solutions. This met the business needs by reducing a large backlog of outstanding suspects and the need for the Mid Reconciliation’s team to work overtime. o As a corporation, HCSC, currently depends on our systems to uniquely identify members with a claim in order to pay accums accurately. In the past, matching logic created issues with payouts to our members. Driving the importance and the understanding of the business with technical partners to reach an effective, long term answer. The MDM Identifier now plays an important role in paying accums.o Another opportunity was to improve the identification process of newborns and correctly applying accums to them as opposed to the mother. Directed the team to recognize possible solutions and worked within functional teams, including the ODS, QA, CEDI, Business, to create a solution. As a result, accums are now being tied to the newborn rather than the mother.
