During my tenure with Oklahoma State Insurance Fund, I served in the role of Internal Auditor II. In that role, I planned, coordinated and conducted all phases of financial and operational audits as well as evaluated compliance with applicable Oklahoma statutes and established internal policies and procedures. Ascertained the adequacy of internal controls and developed cost-effective recommendations for improvement of operations and the internal control structure. Drafted audit reports for review and issuance by the Internal Audit Director. Communicated audit results to management and the Audit Committee of the Board of Managers. Provided internal audit assistance to external auditors.
