My research focuses on physiological ecology at the organismal level. I explore how physical aspects of the ocean such as three-dimensionality and the optical environment affect organism morphology, behaviour and interactions.Skills in: Sample collection and data processing (e.g. video analysis, dolphin photo ID, colorimetry, spectrophotometry, stable isotope analysis, and lipid analysis) and synthesizing and summarizing information. Experience working in rocky intertidal, salt marsh, and bathybenthic habitats with a range of organisms (seaweeds, invertebrates, fishes, marine mammals). Currently working on skills in spatial analysis in ArcGIS, database management and design in SQL, and data visualization and advanced statistics in R.
