Certification is the highest level of evaluation by The Florida Bar of the competency and experience of attorneys.I practice exclusively in the area of intellectual property by assisting my clients --- ranging from individual proprietors to starts-ups to public companies --- with protecting, maintaining, enforcing and litigating trademarks, patents, copyrights, and domain names. I create and manage brand and trademark protection strategies for my clients that consider marketing, manufacturing, and sales objectives, budgets, and the global legal climate. I regularly participate in clients' trademark selection processes by performing clearance searches; due diligence issues that arise from the purchase or license of intellectual property; management of U.S. and foreign portfolios; and with enforcing my client's intellectual property or defending intellectual property disputes in federal court, the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, or through a Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution proceeding.
