I worked with customers to help them understand their Azure consumption depending on how they were purchasing it and explained the benefits of Azure’s Cloud Service Provider program. I had initial conversations with customers who were embarking on their cloud journey to help them understand governance and landing zones. Working in a consulting role at various client sites either on team or sole projects. Outsourced as a network administrator to provide support to the user community and to maintain systems. Maintained systems including applying service packs to NetWare and Windows servers along with applying patches to Syncsort Backup Express product. Redesigned the NetWare eDirectory tree and cleanup of old objects in the tree at multiple client sites along with fixing GroupWise legacy issues. Provide on-call support. Notable projects: • Worked on the planning of migrating NetWare environment to Windows 2003.• Built Windows 2003 server for the implementation of Windows Update Service.• Migrated a three-node NetWare 6 cluster running GroupWise, DHCP, ZENworks, file and print to a two 2-node NetWare 6.5 cluster. • Implemented backup systems using Backup Exec and ARCserve, with both projects including building of a NetWare 6.5 server.• Implemented McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator 3.5 along with updated VirusScan on all Windows workstations and servers to version 8.0i, plus implementing a FTP site on NetWare servers at 30 remote locations for local updates to workstations.

Maintained a Windows environment with over five locations, provided third-level support to 600 users. Provided day-to-day administration support that included checking systems, backups and that antivirus software updated correctly. Provided user training for RightFax network fax application to the entire enterprise via NetMeeting in both one-on-one and group sessions. Notable projects:• Decommission of the NetWare file servers and migration of the data to NT servers company-wide then upgraded to Windows 2000. Created the Active Directory for the organization.• Implemented and supported the anti-virus software solution company-wide. This involved an initial implementation of McAfee VirusScan software for servers and computers throughout the enterprise, and a subsequent replacement with Symantec AntiVirus software. • Evaluated and implemented Track-It! application. This will provide a new helpdesk solution and maintained an on-going inventory of all systems within the enterprise. Involved in testing and planning the upgrade to the current version of this application.• Evaluated and tested software distribution packages. Recommend a solution that best fits this environment.
