As a House Clearance Advisor my role is to provide external support and practical assistance to private client solicitors in charge of managing the estate of deceased clients or those who have had to go into care when there is no one to undertake the clearance of their property. Every clearance is different and I tailor my approach to meet the specific needs of each case with efficiency, respect and discretion. Whether that be carrying out an initial audit of contents, removing portable valuables and important paperwork or helping with a complete clearance. With over 20 years experience dealing in vintage & antiques, I've helped many families informally with advice on what to keep, sell or donate. Regularly liaising with auction houses, gaining valuations for pieces, organising items for sale or donation, helping to minimise waste and support charities. ​I offer in-person support covering properties in North Yorkshire, Teeside and County Durham. When helping individuals with the daunting task of clearing a home my role is to offer personal and practical support at a very challenging time with the ultimate aim of helping to make the process as stress free as possible. I also offer remote consultations to support individuals navigating their way through the process.​In providing support services to solicitors the result is reduced costs to the client's estate by maximising the value of items, minimising disposal costs and saving solicitors time by allowing them to concentrate on the administration of the estate and their legal caseload.
