I began working at Money Intelligence when I finished High School, starting out with basic administrator tasks. Fast-forward 10 years later, I can confidently say that I know how to run an accounting firm in public practice. I consider myself a dedicated, hard worker with a can-do attitude, always open to learning and growing. I have earned my current position as Practice Manager. Being a Practice Manager at Money Intelligence, involves a lot of relationship management - with partners, staff, clients, ATO, ASIC and other government departments. Being able to manage relationships with your stakeholders and ensuring the smooth running of practice operations is the foundation to any business' success. In between managing the practice and relationships, I also assist the senior accountants in the completion of financial accounts and tax returns for business clients (mainly). I do a lot of bookkeeping work on Xero, data entry, and even personal Tax Returns. I have great attention to detail. My experience the past 10 years, has helped me become both relationship-oriented and task-oriented. I excel at both managing relationships and tasks simultaneously. I enjoy both sides of the spectrum because I can see the bigger picture and how both skill sets work in harmony together. I enjoy and am good at dealing with people and working in a team. At the same time I find working autonomously can be therapeutic. Best of both worlds! Some more about me...I am passionate about animal welfare and environmental preservation. I'm a big bookworm (love fiction!). I am very family and friends oriented and love a social lifestyle. Growing up, my dream job was to be a Journalist. Currently looking for opportunities to grow my skill set and gain valuable experience, so that I can further enhance my knowledge in the Public Relations field as well as add value to an organisation and the society I live in.
