• During my time at the college, I was responsible for the planning and delivery of programmes of study across Level 1, 2 and 3.• Within my job role I was accountable for developing and maintaining high standards with regard to teaching, assessment and student success rates.• As a Programme Tutor, my role was seen as one of the most important within the College as I was there to raise aspirations and act as an advocate and guide along the learner journey.• I was there to mentor the learner in managing his/her learning. • I acted as the first line of student discipline, monitoring student performance and organising a student ‘at risk’ register before reporting issues to SMT.• I was required to plan and support the induction process, following up on initial programme enquiries; ensuring programme team were engaged with Advice and Guidance.• I communicated and acted as a referral to internal and external support specialists, demonstrating commitment to safeguarding and protecting the welfare of learners, supporting and embedding Equality & Diversity into the learner journey.• I was required to collate key performance data and discuss/action with team, before discussing with SMT. Lead on individual course programme reviews, completing all documentation for the programme review process, before submitting to ‘Quality’.
