This position provides overall support to the Merchandise Leader and assigned department assisting with execution of an assortment that delivers against financial and brand equity objectives.RESPONSIBILITIES:Lighting Product Information Assistant* Liaison between Merchandising team and Vendors while overseeing custom orders, replacement part requests, product information and assembly instructions.* Help build seasonal assortments for replacement parts, product information and assembly instructions documents and manage all updates throughout the season.* Compile production information sheets and assembly instructions for all new and existing products.* Acquire and maintain technical drawings for all products.* Manage and maintain replacement parts by owning SKU item set-up and maintenance in partnership with Merchandise Operations* Responsible for maintaining the lighting drawing library* Review and respond to associate inquiries via RestoNet and email, and facilitate communication with vendors as needed.* Call out issues on the web through JIRA.* Live Our Values: People, Quality, Service and InnovationREQUIREMENTS:* 1 year experience in an Assistant Merchant role or relevant work experience.* Some experience working with both domestic and/or offshore suppliers and sources* Strong organizational and prioritizing abilities* Excellent verbal and written communications skills including influencing and negotiation skills* High degree of flexibility and initiative.* Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)* Bachelor's degree in related discipline and 2-3 years work experience.
