This framing promotes a culture where mutual respect and partnership exist.Janet has worked with, collaborated with and impacted many organizations such as: •Foundation for a College Education: As Interim Director of Programs she established a culture of respect and healing for the staff and community. •Gehl: As the DEI Leader Janet orchestrated a training for both US teams to explore their personal racial identities to see what was informing beliefs and actions. •A Year of Care program: As co-founder she creates safe spaces for the healing and renewal of BIWoC. •Soul Shoppe: As Board Chair she works to uphold the mission & vision so that all actions are in alignment. •Challenge Day: Residing on the board as Chair she fostered stability in a fluid environment to ensure that the staff and organization as a whole operated with integrity in addition to being open-hearted. •Pacific Educational Group: As the 1st Racial Equity coaches I engaged educators in Portland, Oregon and Little Rock, Arkansas in excavating their racial identities to inform how it was impacting their teaching and leadership. •De Anza College, Office of Equity, Social Justice and Multicultural Education: Facilitated the 1st annual “Queer & Now” conference. Secured $25k in cross-campus funding. Worked with students to further develop their leadership skills. 300+ folks attended. •University of Michigan, Stanford University Medical Schools, and others: As an educator providing trauma informed instruction about sexual and reproductive health, patient-centered care, and provider competency for over 20 years.
