I am a self-aware professional who works well with people in various settings, including the classroom and office. My job is to assist the school administration in office tasks, while keeping the flow in the office smooth and functioning. I like how there are day-to-day jobs as well as spontaneous needs that pop-up. I enjoy wearing different hats from answering phone calls, to going into the classroom to cover for a teacher while he or she steps out, to evaluating a leak through the back door.I enjoy traveling and have cultural sensitivity in communication and a deep appreciation for diversity. My favorite overseas travel is when I went to Japan. And here in America I have visited the native tribes in South Dakota as a teenager, and it made a lasting impression on me.In addition to my school job, I also work seasonally for the Hero's Journey® Foundation and their program, the Women's Journey Summer Intensive (an outdoor women's retreat). There I am passionate about group therapy and helping women face inner obstacles while also discovering more of their inner strengths and true nature. In my spare time, I enjoy presenting workshops and leading retreats on such topics as "Utilizing the Hero's Journey for Personal and Professional Development," "Self-Care," "Women's Retreats," and more.I care about PEOPLE and truly want the best for all.
