Review of land use and development permits for compliance with the Shoreline Management Act and Island County zoning regulations in order to protect the natural environment and character of Whidbey and Camano Island. Consultant planner to a Municipal Planning Office and Municipal Women's Office which serves 13 Guatemalan communities, located within the department of Totonicapan. Coordinate development planning with local community and political leaders. Increase citizen involvement in planning, with a special focus upon women and indigenous populations.
