Conducted the psychological evaluation of abdominal aortic aneurysm screening; a condition that is asymptomatic but has high levels of mortality. This was part of a large randomised controlled trial of AAA screening, which led to national screening being rolled out throughout the NHS. Findings published in The Lancet - see summary below.
