I was on BBC Radio 2 as a co-presenter on Steve Wright in the afternoon for 24 years, Talking about my passion for wellness, sustainability and holistic living led to me being offered my first publishing deal, I am the author of several holistic living books, Imperfectly Natural Woman was a number One Amazon best seller. My most recent book is Happy Healthy Sober - ditch the booze and take control of your life. In 2018 I finally found the missing link of the holistic jigsaw, stopped stepping around the elephant in the room (booze) and quit. I am passionate about bringing natural health and positive sobriety into the mainstream. I gave a TEDx talk Sobriety Rocks - Who Knew! in 2019 sharing a bit about my own journey, I was never at rock bottom - more a 'grey area drinker', but I now realise you don't have to wait till its rock bottom! I now host the Alcohol Free Life Podcast and run The Sober Club, a non judgemental platform for people wanting to be healthy without the booze. I host workshops, retreats and its a membership community, Some members are sober curious,, Day 1 or have been sober for years, because its all about the 'whats next? For me, work wise, I'd like to be offered more speaking engagements, a TV series would be excellent and more radio would be nice too! (its in the bones!) I offer media training and EFT for confidence in public speaking, I am a coach, trained in Recovery, NLP, EFT Matrix Re imprinting and Family Constellations. My latest project is training Sober 360 Coaches, so if you want to inspire others and encourage them to get free from the alcohol trap, find their purpose, focus on health and wellbeing and self love, then get in touch. It includes a lot of personal transformation with 2 in person days followed by online. The programme covers all aspects of coaching modalities with expert trainers and a full programme of biz stuff too, so you finish knowing how to set up a biz and promote yourself in an authentic way.
