Managing the corporate social media accounts, primarily Twitter and Facebook. Posting regularly about events, activities and promotions available, and attempting to increase engagement and activity amongst customers. I handle customer complaints, comments and queries via social media and resolve them swiftly. Also create reports on response and activity using Hootsuite and Google Analytics.

Creating adverts and marketing material as and when required. Creating and building brand awareness to drive sales. Solely responsible for the interior design and purchasing required for refurbishing properties in readiness for sale and managing each project from concept to completion. Designed a new editable website, in order to improve and grow the company’s online presence. Also responsible for managing and developing the company’s social media initiatives, via Twitter and Facebook.

Working within and then, ultimately, managing a Regional Ad Creation department creating print and online advertisements for newspapers and magazines for Northcliffe Media, the regional media group owned by Daily Mail & General Trust. Based in Hull but providing a design service for twelve centres across the country, my team consisted of 27 people at its peak, creating up to 8,000 adverts per month and delivering a service crucial to the income and profit generation of several publishing businesses. My role was to manage and inspire the team and achieve all targets and deadlines to the highest standards, whilst developing innovative and inspiring designs to drive sales response and/or brand awareness for clients. This constantly-evolving role involved many challenges, both on a day-to-day basis and in finding new solutions to deliver ever greater efficiency and performance in an industry undergoing dramatic change. I was involved in software development and implementation in order to streamline processes within the department, and as part of my regional role, was instrumental in centralising artwork production into the Hull centre. I became adept at managing and developing people, as well as maintaining a happy and friendly atmosphere to work within, despite the frenzied pace. This role equipped me with a wealth of experience, knowledge and development, both professionally and personally.
