AI4Vet4AIThe general objective of AI4VET4AI is to establish a transnational European platform for vocational education and training (VET) excellence. This platform aims to contribute to the digital transformation of the EU labour market by introducing innovative teaching content and methods into vocational education and training (VET) curricula across 11 European countries. The primary goal is to support and foster the growth of a skilled workforce in the field of artificial intelligence (AI).

The Public Research Institute RUDOLFOVO – Scientific and Technological Centre Novo Mesto was established on 23 March 2022 by the Government of the Republic of Slovenia to support technological development and innovation in South-Eastern Slovenia and the Cohesion Region Eastern Slovenia, and thus in Slovenia as a whole.The activities of Rudolfovo are aimed at achieving the following objectives:creating an ecosystem of new small and medium-sized highly innovative, high-technology-based enterprises that will provide the geographical area of South-Eastern Slovenia (SES) with the necessary stability, quality jobs and economic prosperity based on high added value,supporting the business of existing large and medium-sized enterprises in the SES region to innovate their products, services, and processes in cooperation with researchers from the Rudolfovo, thereby increasing their competitiveness and added value,increasing public investment and the number of researchers in the SES and the Cohesion Region Eastern Slovenia (CRES),supporting the green and digital transformation of the Slovenian economy and public sector,establishing a state-of-the-art research infrastructure in selected fields of activity, which will be the basis for knowledge transfer to the economy and the public sector,improving excellence in science,transfer knowledge to younger generations,inspiring young people to pursue STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) careers,cooperation with higher education organisations.The R&D unit of Rudolfovo includes:* Laboratory for Factories of the Future* Centre for Digital Transformation* Centre for Circular Economy* Centre for Technology Transfer and Intellectual Property

The School of Advanced Social Studies in Nova Gorica (SASS) was established as an independent private higher education institution on 15 June 2006.In 2007, the teaching process started at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. In the academic year 2007/08, SASS began implementing full-time study programmes, namely the undergraduate study programme Advanced Social Studies, which is renamed into (academic) study programme Social Management, and the master’s study programme Intercultural Management. In 2008, the School obtained accreditation for a doctoral programme of Sociology, thus vertically completing the system of study programmes, i.e. at the postgraduate, master’s and doctoral levels.A year later, we started creating an additional vertical line vertical in the field of social management, where we obtained accreditation for the undergraduate (BA) study programme and a master’s study programme titled Social Management (currently inactive). In the academic year 2012/13, bachelor of arts study programme and master’s study programme Psychosocial Counselling were added to the existing programmes.n their productive research work, our research staff and higher education teachers with high orientation towards applicability (in accordance with the name of the School) address issues that are extremely important from both the economic and the wider social point of view. Social problems and challenges never cease and never run out.Functioning of democratic societies, rule of law, knowledge society, migrations, cultural diversity, discrimination, stereotyping, poverty, hunger, unemployment, right to work, harassment, mobbing, sexual harassment, domestic violence, abuse, online safety, addictions, environmental pollution, health management and healthcare … are just a few examples from the long list of challenges that modern people and societies are facing. The School has been awarded the title of Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence.
