As part of the global R&D centre in Dendermonde, Belgium, I am responsible for:* Defining D&M PSS strategy and roadmap for material & glues in electro-acoustic applications and products * Developing new and innovative materials & glue techniques for premium speaker and electro-acoustic products* Generate new ideas and patents* Supporting business, purchasing and product development cycles with expertise on core chemical processes (plastics, metals, rubber, foam, etc) * Initiating and supporting current and future global worldwide manufacturing processes * Leading the chemical engineering department * Define and describe product development and laboratory procedures * Scouting the market for competitive solutions and developing new suppliers * Responsible for global chemical expertise centre * Responsible for design of experiment and laboratory equipment
