Jan has been a leader in the global hospitality industry for more than 30 years. His experience comprises strategy development and execution, business turnarounds & transformations, building culture & consensus across large diverse teams and creating favourable conditions to stimulate and sustain growth.Jan was most recently the CEO of IHG, a FTSE 100 global hotel company. He led the Asia, Middle East & Africa region, the Group’s most geographically diverse business unit comprising 300 hotels and resorts operating in 47 countries under six internationally renowned brands. During his tenure, Jan led a 60,000-strong workforce, launched several new brands and created new business models to grow the region into a US$4 billion dollar business.Jan is currently Deputy Chair & Co-CEO of Pro-invest Group, a global investment firm specialising in Private Equity Real Estate and Real Estate Asset Management. Jan is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a passionate advocate for mentoring & developing the next generation of hospitality leaders.
