My undergraduate education began in the computer science program at California State University San Bernardino. This gave me the opportunity to study the subjects of mathematics, physics, computer programming, and network design in-depth. From there, I continued into the BSQA program offered by CSU Dominguez Hills, which shifted my focus toward quality engineering, advanced measurement techniques, product design, supply chain structure, operations, and quality assurance management.As a mid-career manager, my background stretches far beyond classroom theory into the rapidly changing and fiercely competitive U.S. manufacturing and industrial sectors. I have accrued nearly two decades of professional experience in manufacturing quality assurance, process engineering, and facilities management, playing crucial roles in identifying and preventing causes of defects and inefficiencies within production systems. This has required me to work closely with customers, production, and maintenance personnel to consistently generate effective solutions for production and quality issues by providing support to engineering departments on the design-side as well as implementing appropriate changes to processes, tooling, equipment, and infrastructure. As one who loves to lead by example and get my hands dirty on all things mechanical, I have become deeply familiar with manufacturing machinery, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, process heating and cooling, HVAC, and even metal fabrication, as well as industrial paint & coating processes. My passion for problem solving accompanies a strong fascination with electronics and programming from C or C++ to RSLogix and other PLC software suites. This wide range of knowledge and skills blended with a persistent sense of curiosity ensures that I can be an unusually versatile asset in just about any work environment.
