With a Bachelor of Engineering from MKSSS Cummins College of Engineering for Women, my journey took me from Associate Engineer at Eaton to Product Engineer at Danfoss, where I honed my expertise in hydraulic product design and development. At Danfoss, I applied 3D modeling and hydraulic calculations to design innovative piston pumps and motors, utilizing Design for Six Sigma tools for risk mitigation and robust product development.My tenure at Eaton involved sustaining engineering for medium-duty piston pumps and developing heavy-duty bent axis motors. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, we employed DFSS tools to translate customer needs into concrete design specifications, ensuring product quality through rigorous testing and data analysis. My goal is to contribute to a culture of innovation and excellence by bringing a diverse perspective and a dedication to creating products that meet the evolving needs of the industry.Experienced in designing hydraulic motors and pumps with proficiency in ProE, AutoCAD, Creo, MATHCAD, and Minitab. Skilled in conducting design failure mode and effect analysis, stack-up calculations, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing. Certified in Design for Six Sigma, with expertise in predicting volumetric efficiency drops and designing test plans. Strong background in closed-circuit hydraulic systems for off-highway vehicles, including pump controls for pressure, flow, and torque. Experience in sustainability processes, innovation, and achieving critical quality parameters through strategic design and testing in the automotive and hydraulics sectors.
