Since joining GE Vingmed Ultrasound in summer 2014 as a technical writer, I transitioned to Lead Program Integrator for the Vivid S-series Cardiovascular Ultrasound Systems in 2016, supporting our team to develop and launch product, and solve the day to day challenges we face while maintaining focus on our longer term goals. The transition from technical writing to project management is perhaps not an obvious one, but my strengths in organization, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration made it a natural progression for me.For the last couple years I've been program manager of one program and lead program integrator for another. Happy to have been recently appointed as program manager and transitioning to an exciting innovation program in GEHC CVUS!-------I have 2+ years experience working with technical publications and label design utilizing Adobe Creative Suite, mainly Framemaker, Photoshop, and Illustrator applications, in a content management system for user documentation as well as interaction with software repository. In addition I have been responsible for product and packaging label design and release, using many of the same tools and processes.Prior to joining the technical writing field, I had 7 years of experience first teaching Literature, Latin, and Mathematics at the Lady Margaret Roper School (9-12) in Fort Worth, TX, and since 2007 I have worked with The Princeton Review as a school-based SAT/ACT/College Readiness Instructor with our partner schools in the DFW Metroplex. As a Princeton Review Instructor, I have worked in the Fort Worth and Dallas ISDs, and for the last two years at MacArthur High School in Irving, TX as part of a United Way program (Destination: Graduation) intended to close the gap between student of low and high socioeconomic status.I've also taught Princeton Review's retail-based SAT and ACT courses, as well as individual tutoring.
