Janice Buckner is a nationally known performing artist, songwriter and puppeteer, presenting over one hundred fifty concerts and workshops each year. She tours nationally and internationally, appearing on television and radio, as well as in schools and concert halls across the USA and Europe. Ms. Buckner entertains audiences with her voice, guitars, puppets and her theatrical incorporation of Sign Language for the Deaf, which she calls “dance of the hands”. She holds a Dual Masters in Education and English and is a permanently certified teacher in five areas, ranging Pre-K – high school. She has received national recognition for her award winning Learn Along Song® Series of eleven CDs and Songbook/Activity Guides and is internationally known for the Learn Along Radio® Show which aired out of Hofstra University for seventeen years. Ms. Buckner presents teacher training workshops at colleges, schools and conventions nationally and has recently published “The Creativity in the Classroom Work/Play Book,” an 80 page hands-on manual and songbook for teachers, which is already being used in colleges, Pre-K centers and elementary schools.
