• Oversees the implementation of all the academic policies• Planning and design of training programs and other professional activities of faculty member• Recruitment, promotion and reclassification of faculty members• Prepares report which reflect the school’s standing in terms of academic matters• Resolves any conflict which may arise in the academic community• Organizes academic activities which promote the advancement of school program• Acts as the Committee Chair of the Honors and Awards Committee• Meets the faculty regularly to disseminate current and pertinent information, discuss issues and concern, plan and assign academic activities, monitor on-going academic activities• Monitor the attendance and punctuality of faculty member in classes, faculty meeting and academic activities• Monitors the submission of academic requirement to CHED• Oversee/monitor practicum and thesis program • Recommend maximum class size• Design faculty member class schedule/load
