Responsibilities: Maintain excellent customer relationships while creating repayment schedules based on customers’ financial situations; Locate and monitor overdue accounts using customized computer programs including financial status and collection efforts; Work as a strong team member with customers, credit bureaus, legal offices and probate courts; Re-file insurance, determine discharge accounts, adjust charity discounts and determine accounts sent to collections; Work numerous reports, enter detailed notes in system; Perform various administrative functions for assigned accounts including recording demographic changes, sort and file correspondence, respond to request for information.

Coordinate Care with Doctors, Hospitals, Home Care and Family Members; Solve Escalated Customer Service Problems; Provide Support for all National Field Offices, Initiate/Complete Authorizations with Numerous Insurance Carriers; Verify Contents of Patient Files to Meet Government Regulations including Assigning Correct CPT and ICD9 Codes; Maintain Advanced Computer Skills; Participate in Special Projects and Cross Train with Other Departments; Work Overtime Holidays/Weekends When Needed.

Act as Team Lead for twelve professional staff members; Build strong relationships between Anthem and the broker community; Assist brokers and human resource professionals with employee meetings and enrollments; Maintain a thorough knowledge of all other Anthem departments; Provide staff training and development; Create reports in order to improve efficiency; Analyze and update policy and procedures; Represent team on numerous central region projects; Travel as needed.

Analyze and Report Statistical Data, Quote Benefits Plans, Conduct Large Group Employer/Employee Educational Meetings, Explain and Implement Section 125 Program Guidelines, Coordinating Sales Activities in Western Kentucky.
