No nation plans to collapse-no family plans to be destroyed. It is a breakdown like a slow leak. It begins in our homes, in our communities and in our schools to empower our youth that they each have a special destiny and they can achieve their dreams. Street Corner Dreams is an exploratory learning experience in the performing arts. When recognizing a child's natural talent they have an oppotunity to build self-esteem outside non-academic skills which may spark a failing student desire to achieve. Thus, exploring the performing arts can and will make these children aware of an unique talent they may have while inspiring and motivating new visions. Street Corner Dreams wants to encourage our youth from diverse backgrounds and cultures to work and play together and Form Positive Peer Relationships. Thru music and entertainment we can demonstrate how to respect the knowledge and opinions of others thru sharing inspiring first person stories of triumph and adversity. Our message is to help our children to realize what we should mean to each other from all walks of race, religion, cultures and careers.
