Just completed my business diploma through Georgian college. 91% GPAI volunteer my time as a co-chair at the high school level on the parent council, and also in the treasury position-2 years running at the elementary school level on the parent council. Keeping the connection alive and communicating between school and home is important.I have spearheaded community-driven safety projects in my hometown. With the planning, organizing, implementation, and follow through in partnership with our town council. Most recently is the implementation of an accessible and inclusive play park in a section of town that is often forgotten.I enjoy volunteering the rest of my time within my community at events such as the 2SLGBTQIA+ event we have annually called "celebrate your awesome" which celebrates individuality, diversity, equity, and inclusion, the poppy campaign through the royal Canadian legion, and our local rib fest, and blues and jazz fest.
