From center stage to boardroom stages, I never expected I would one day transform my passion for storytelling as a musical theatre actress into taking the spotlight crafting innovative business strategies.It's true. After working for 5 years at Fruity Chutes wearing many different hats as I rigorously pursued a career in the risky and challenging world of performing arts I found a new calling. Fruity Chutes being a small business start up, manufacturing parachute recovery for unmanned aerospace projects and for the volatile drone industry, I had the opportunity to wear many different hats in my first few years. These included lead nurturing, speaking at trade shows, and website development. The hat, though, that I loved wearing more than anything was that of a sales strategist. As a sales strategist I was developing and implementing comprehensive sales strategies that aligned with our goals. I loved this!After implementing sales strategies in the first year taking on the role I was able to double our sales. Soon after this newfound passion lead me to the role of Head of Business Strategy.Over the last 6 plus years as Head of Business Strategy, my efforts have increased sales by over 180%. Two of these efforts have included implementing an effective lead nurturing process to keep customers engaged during the pre-sale decision process. This has also included innovating a one-of-a-kind B2B consultation process to help companies through an intense and risky certification process.My skills from wearing many hats at a startup, as a musical theatre actress, and also as an entrepreneur, coaching women to live fulfilled between their life and career, are what has made my work as a business strategist so incredibly effective.My experiences have taught me resilience in challenging times. They have awarded me the confidence to speak in front of crowds and form meaningful industry connections. I have learned how to be an effective and approachable leader. Being able to take well-calculated and bold risks has become one of my strong suits. I am known for being able to weave a narrative for emotional impact. And most of all I have learned how to care for my mindset so it is primed for innovation. Driving business growth through creative innovation and strategic planning has become my passion. I performed in the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City. As a performer my job was to memorize lines, music, and choreography.
