I am a freelance self-taught artist, and have been working professionally in this field since 2020.My current artistic niche is environmentally-inclined acrylic on canvas paintings.I was commissioned by Starbucks Asia-Pacific and Starbucks India, as well as First Edition Arts for paintings for their respective projects. Additionally, I have made several sales. As a member of the creative community, I am highly motivated, meticulous, detail-oriented, and disciplined when it comes to both my art and written work. I am also ever eager to hone my skills and expand my professional network by building fruitful connections.I have a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from St. Xavier's College, Goa, and a Master's degree in English with Communication Studies from CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore.While studying at St. Xavier's College, Goa, I wrote, edited and had published three articles during an internship with The Times of India, Goa, on animal welfare and local education trends. I also co-wrote, edited and designed an art magazine entitled "Meraki" which broadly covers the field of art with greater emphasis on Goan artisans.While studying at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore, I wrote, edited and proofread several research papers. I conceptualized and created the main text for my research project, "Rejuvenation in Remembrance: An Anthology on the Phenomenology of the Body depicted through Painting", which expounded the narrative of my personal bodily experiences via three heavily symbolic paintings. Having successfully conducted interviews with people from all walks of life for various projects and co-ordinated and scheduled interviews for the Goa Arts and Literature Festival in 2017 and 2018 as part of the student team collated by St. Xavier's College, Goa, I can also vouch for my communication and organizational skills.
