About Janice Indajang

Hello, my name is Janice and I am interested in the interplay between nutrition and education. My interests involve researching the underlying socioeconomic barriers that limit access to adequate nutrition amongst marginalized communities. I am also interested in the field of nutrition education and how I can incorporate minority perspectives into creating engaging lessons for communities. I believe that effective nutritional education requires the input of cultural backgrounds to make it accessible to communities to lead healthy, active lifestyles. I hope to apply these interests into a career in dietetics and nutritional research. Please feel free to contact me by email: ji75@cornell.edu.
