StoneCroft Engineering Ltd. provides both civil and structural engineering services in a variety of sectors throughout British Columbia and other jurisdictions. As Principal & General Manager, responsibilities include client delivery, business development, project management, policy/systems/procedures, professional practice management and professional development. Projects include mine access development, forestry supply chain management and stakeholder engagement. Leadership role responsible for WFP's marine supply chain and log forecasting. Responsibilities included management of Burleith Water Sort and Ladysmith Dryland Sort. In addition, responsible for contract management and tendering of marine log towing and log barging, leadership of safety & environmental programs within operational areas, budgetting, finance, systems improvements, supply chain modelling and reporting, inventory reporting, infrastructure management, capital planning, equipment maintenance, and preventative maintenance programs. Consistently and continuously implemented new direction to improve production and reduce delivery timelines while investing in future capacity and maintaining budgets. Key part of this role was in communications within operational crews and within the different divisions of the organization to ensure that organizational goals were efficiently and effectively executed.

Joined the WFP Fibre Optimization Group after completing Masters final project in inventory management. Responsibilities included coordination of towing & barging operations, interface between timberlands & manufacturing divisions, and forecasting of log deliveries. Maintenance of storage tie-ups including project management of pile driving operations.

Key responsibilities included strategic planning of cutblocks & roads, supervision of contract engineering, and coordination of engineering department. Also led First Nations referrals and acted as government liaison for all permit applications. Worked with contract road construction & logging crews, releasing project areas and inspecting operations.

Leadership role in SAFE certification, ISO 14001 Environmental Management certification & SFI Sustainable Forest Management certification. Trained as an internal auditor and started MBA Program.

Engineering roads & cutblocks, mapping using Geographic Information Systems and Site Plan preparation. Obtained designation as Registered Professional Forester.

Engineering cutblocks & roads, as well as silviculture liability management, including planting program management, contract management, silviculture surveys, and reporting and liaising with Ministry of Forests. Geographic area covered included North Island, Johnstone Strait & Mainland Coast.
