I am a goal-driven individual who enjoys collaborating with others to achieve goals and advance the education system in the classroom. I have worked as a high school special education teacher, as well as transition coordinator and chair of my department. As a teacher I value hard work and commitment to my students in order that they are equipped with the knowledge, confidence, and skills to become lifelong learners. The classroom is very stressful and has made me an advocate for a better world through Teaching. My students always tell me that they can make a difference when given the opportunity. I believe that all students deserve to get the best education they possibly can and my passion is helping them to reach their post-secondary goals so that they can live a fulfilling life beyond high school. I am also a tech junkie with followers on all social media platforms. I enjoy learning that industry and the various marketing strategies that go along with it.I am also Google Educator Certified.In my spare time (what little there is) I am a digital scrapbooker with 16 years experience with Photoshop. I create digital and hybrid art as my creative outlet.
