Janice Thomas is a seasoned entrepreneur with expertise in various industries. These encompass large manufacturing to a variety of companies in the food supply chain to health. After graduating with Honours Degrees in both Industrial Relations and Labour Law and a successful career in the corporate world, she followed her heart into the entrepreneurial realm and has now found her true passion in a combination of precision medicine; compliance; bespoke software and robotic process automation. The synchronicity of her entire career has quite strikingly been geared to her new role, including Strategic Human Resources, Compliance (ISO and SANAS standards and Corporate Governance), General Management; Software Development and implementation (integrating entire supply chains), and an extremely focused vision.Janice opened her first consulting and training business in 2001. With a “we get our hands dirty with you” approach and a focus on agility and growth, the company grew exponentially to incorporate several services and divisions. Janice has project managed many acquisitions and large-scale software implementation projects with a flair for identifying simple solutions to complex operations and challenges, integrating supply chains with paperless systems. Her broad and specialised experience delivers a long-term approach to the establishment of solid foundations.With an innate philosophy of customer and patient centricity Janice led the team in Nova Genetics quest to bring individualised medicine to all through New Generation Sequencing and Pharmacogenomics, with a focus on “the whole person” and sustained quality of life.
