Current1991: the beginning of my new construction career.I had the opportunity to work fall parade and was very successful as I sold 7 new builds.Instantly I found my passion! I proceeded to take every new construction class available, diligently study floor plans and blueprints, and with the knowledge I became a new construction specialist. Tkaczik Construction was my 1st builder, where I learned the entire building process. I transferred to Pierce Construction in the mid 90’s to learn the ins and outs to a higher end build job. Under Pierce, I trained for the (then) upcoming energy star programs. Learning the importance of tightening down a home and the value of an air exchanger—all the way to a blower door test. When Pierce decided to build only log homes, I chose to stay with my passion of framed homes and started working for Semler Homes in the late 90’s until 2007.By this time, I have designed, construction cleaned, completed plans and specs meetings, final walk-thru’s and was even entrusted to sign for the builder at closings. My specialty during my time with Semler Homes was doing all model selections/designing and then decorating/staging for sale. It furthered my knowledge of the construction industry and being able to assist my clients thru this process with the least amount of frustration.I know and understand the importance of a model being open and am faithful with the hours chosen. With my wealth of knowledge in the new construction industry, I am an asset to a builder in our current market conditions, being able to bring in a buyer, contract them, and assist them thru the entire building process.
