For an hour every Monday night at 7 pm EST the Homeland Security Show featured news and analysis not heard from mainstream media, or the White House. The show provided news and analysis often ignored or misunderstood, but imperative to understanding how well government is protecting us, how government is not protecting us, and what can be done better. Guests were all experts in the field and have featured those from former heads of agencies, to investigative journalists, academics and authors, entrepreneurs in homeland technologies, former intelligence and military officers, law enforcement, senior Canadian officials, and think tank policy analysts.

As border counsel to the 9/11 Commission, responsible for determining how the 9/11 hijackers got in and stayed in the US, including the acquisition of state-issued IDs. Determined why our border system failed and what needed to be corrected to enhance border security. Termed the phrase "terrorist travel." Helped drafted 9/11 Final Report border recommendations, supported facts in Final Report. One of three main authors of the monograph used extensively to change border programs and pass border legislation, "9/11 and Terrorist Travel."

Two laws drafted and passed unanimously in both House and Senate, and signed by President Clinton into law, the Identity Theft law of 1998 and Millenium Law of 1998. Drafted only pre-9/11 Immigration and Terrorism report, included in hearing transcript. Delivered 10 hearings on the state of terrorism, including a 5 year 1993 WTC hrg on the current state of foreign terrorist activity in the US, prior to 9/11.
