Janice Liscinsky is a certified dog trainer and an honors graduate of Animal behavior College. She is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) and is continuously attending seminars and reading educational books on training and animal behavior to further her education. She is also a CGC (Canine Good Citizen) Evaluator.All training is done using positive reinforcement which rewards all good behavior. Her love of animals began at an early age where she grew up having numerous pets. Janice currently lives in Deep River, CT with Dave and their fur babies Gunda and Dexter, both German Shepherds.In addition to private training, Janice also teaches Group Classes at My Dog's Place in Basic Manners and Puppy Kindergarten and also manages puppy and adolescent socials. Janice is currently working with other trainers at the East Haven Animal Shelter training dogs to help them get adopted.
