The Senior Compliance Manager is responsible for the management of Corporate Compliance activities for all FFF Enterprises, Inc., business unit, including Drug Wholesale Distribution and Specialty Pharmacy with a dedicated focus on DEA Compliance. • Actively monitor and assure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and guidance, including but not limited to 21 U.S.C 801 et seq and 21 CFR 1300 to end, and applicable SOPs.• Support for the implementation of DEA and other Corporate Compliance initiatives, training, investigation, auditing, monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement.• Provide oversight and subject matter guidance to the organization.• Responsible for maintaining compliance of federal, state, and all local laws, regulations, and guidance, including but not limited to DEA Compliance.• Works closely with multiple departments within the organization for controlled substance projects to minimize risks associated with diversion.• Oversees the suspicious order monitoring (SOM) program by managing parameters, daily activities and ensuring proper documentation.• Conduct investigations for the loss or theft of controlled substances in a timely manner.• Creates and revises DEA policies and procedures ensuring they are current with DEA regulations.• Supports Drug Enforcement Administration Field Office interactions for all DEA related issues at designated sites and Boards of Pharmacy.• Responsible for the development and implementation of internal compliance metrics, audits, and reports, including reporting to the Corporate Compliance Committee.• Support the Sr. Director DEA Compliance and Chief Compliance Officer in the implementation and management of enterprise-wide corporate compliance program activities.• Knowledge of Sunshine Act and state transparency reporting, preferably experience with Open Payments• Oversees compliance staff.• Authors newsletters for both Corporate and DEA Compliance

Serves as IRB Program Manager for UNT Denton campus. Responsible for managing oversight of the following research committees: Institutional Research Board (IRB), Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), and Conflict of Interest (COI). Assists researchers with complex biomedical studies and collaborative projects with other entities. Acts as liaison for University and responsible for remaining current on issues in the field of research compliance. • Reviews complex IRB and IACUC applications and COI disclosures; interfaces with researchers to provide guidance throughout the review process. • Assists investigators with writing Informed Consent documents. • Maintains oversight of full-board biomedical studies and collaborative studies with other entities. • Coordinates full-board study submissions and interfaces with researchers, IRB/IACUC Chairs and board members to facilitate research. • Plans and prepares full-board IRB and IACUC meetings. • Reviews and processes Institutional Authorization Agreements (IAAs) with other institutions and maintains electronic database of agreements. • Prepares reports for various federal agencies (OHRP, OLAW, USDA.) • Assists in development and delivery of campus-wide training and the development of tools to ensure compliance with University policies and state and federal guidelines. • Assists with special projects as needed. • Reviews compliance committee processes and identifies areas in need of improvement. • Consults with Director of Research Integrity & Compliance to resolve complex compliance issues.
