My role as a super-connector includes: strategic planning, oversight and execution of new business development, retention initiatives, and customer engagement and outreach programs for global corporate investors.The Global Corporate Venturing (GCV) Leadership Society was established in 2016 to inform, connect, and transform the global corporate venturing ecosystem. The Society brings together Corporate Venture Capitalist who want to further the industry in meaningful ways, solve today's innovation challenges and mentor next generation leaders. It consists of the elite 20% of CVCs who do 80% of the deals, worldwide.Benefits and services include: industry news and data, events (public and private), platforms for collaboration and sharing deal flow, portfolio company showcases, professional development and industry outreach and connection to entrepreneurs, Venture Capitalists, corporate C-Suites, and regional trade associations, some of which provide government lobbying activities.

SINET provides a series of events for Cyber Security professionals to connect with the start-up ecosystem, to aid in finding solutions to various security challenges. As a contractor, my responsibilities included the development of procedures related to the procurement of members and program sponsors.

Directed all planning, promotion and execution of membership retention, acquisition and new business development programs, which generated 92% of association revenue. Primary liaison to various board committees and member subgroups. Frequent speaker at industry-related events. Report directly to the NVCA President/CEO.Administered annual budget in excess of $5 million. Consistently met or exceeded all revenue goals related to membership, business development, education, and events. Managed delivery of member benefits; primary liaison to all service providers including member-exclusive national insurance program. Interfaced directly with a 28 member Board of Directors during quarterly meetings, as well as provide staff administration for six Board subcommittees throughout the year. Oversaw planning and execution of annual conference program, venue, logistics, speaker selection, and onsite staff/volunteer coordination. Created and implemented formation of member subgroups such as Corporate Venture, Growth Equity and Strategic Marketing and Communications.

Directed all membership recruitment, retention and marketing programs for local association executive professional society. Organized and produced association executive education workshops.Designed and executed innovative special events for members.Created and implemented a membership staff compensation incentive program.Supervised a membership staff of three. Managed and maintained association member database.
