I am a freelance marketing resource, with 20+ years of Corporate Marketing experience, engaged by small-medium sized packaged goods companies to define and support their marketing efforts. Since going out on my own in 2013, I work with organizations to meet their business objectives through strategic planning, program creation and project execution. Areas of project management concentration are product strategy, agency oversight, packaging graphics design, advertising, consumer promotion, selling materials, business analysis, and social media.Trained as a brand and product management professional, I think strategically while determining the proper tactical initiatives to enact strategy and achieve objectives. The marketing plans I create include action-oriented business analysis, P&L management, new product introductions, multi-media advertising, consumer promotion, market research, package design, public relations and social media. Strong and approachable interpersonal skills have driven my success through working on teams, directing agencies, developing my department and bringing management’s vision to fruition. My proven success as a seasoned business executive is demonstrated by my brand marketing results in Food, HBA & OTC categories throughout the US and Canada. I have built products (Kozy Shack Pudding, Thomas’ Baked Goods, Keri Lotion, Ban Deodorant, Excedrin) in the Food, Drug, Mass Merchandiser, Club Store and Foodservice trade channels for billion dollar multinational corporations (Bristol-Myers Squibb, George Weston Bakeries) and smaller, privately owned companies (Kozy Shack Enterprises).
