My professional experience since age 17 has steadily been Customer Service and Sales based.. I spent over 36 years working in the property management field as a Leasing Consultant/Assistant Manager/ Leasing Director and now Property Manager. My current position has allowed me training in my sales capacity, budget knowledge, and prep, payroll, working with/coordinating contractors and vendors, Interviewing, overseeing staff, renewals, collections & evictions, accounts payable on Nexus systems, overseeing and coordinating and overseeing our renovation/construction in our renovated apartment homes.Being a stay-at-home mom for 8 years, I created my own cleaning business when my children were all in preschool and up. Loving the job because of the satisfaction I received from my clients when they complimented me on my services it has since grown over the past 12 years on a referral basis only.Getting my Real Estate license was huge for me and was my goal since age 17! When my children were all in school I accomplished that in 2007. I joined Long and Foster Real Estate in Sept. of 2007 while still maintaining and growing my cleaning business and obtaining a 1st-degree brown belt in Shotokan Karate. I took the step into Management in Dec. 2017! I currently run a wonderful 258-unit Residential Community. I love working at Viking Residential I have had more growth opportunities with this company than ever before. And I'm loving it!Current Update 3/2023: I am now a Certified Notary Signing Agent! On a part-time basis, I can travel as a mobile Notary Siging Agent for real estate transactions. Building a retirement income part time!!
