Responsible for the procuring of the right materials and services by negotiating the best price and work closely with maintenance, production, accounting and suppliers to achieve the best total cost and value for the plant. Working to achieve the department KPI's for % saving of total spend, first pass invoicing, and OH & S compliance with vendor. Also responsble for overseeing and driving the warehousing strategies, policies and procedures and supporting the efficient running of the operations through stocking strategies, inventory integrity and continuous improvement ideals.

Overseeing all quoting, procurement, and movement of project ordered equipment for AZCAR’s four corporate identities AZCAR Technologies Inc., AZCAR USA Inc, AZCAR Digital Products and AZCAR Procom reporting to the President.

Reporting to the CFO – responsible for all operating systems within the corporation in Canada and the United States.Expanded duties included:• Overseeing purchasing, inventory and shipping functions within the corporation. Divisions included AZCAR Canadian operation, AZCAR USA and AZCAR Digitial Products.• Cross training and updating personnel. Managing a staff of seven cross border personnel.• Responsible for the obtaining of equipment revenue corporately – including the billing of revenue to our clients which includes obtaining corporate goals with a stated GPM of 12% minimum on equipment sales.

Develop an efficient and productive purchasing department including logistics, purchasing, inventory control and shipping responsibilities reporting to the Director of Equipment Sales and Service.• Overseeing purchasing – including inventory and shipping functions within the corporation• Developing supplier relationships to obtain better discounts.• Ordering, disbursing and controlling installation materials for current projects.• Cross training and training personnel on new and updated procedures.• Participate on the inter-departmental OMC on developing procedures within the corporation.
