The College & Career Success Assistant Director is responsible for leading Camp College, Passport Scholars, and Benwood Scholars through coordinated and collaborative efforts with the team and overseeing program delivery of STEP-UP Chattanooga. The Assistant Director will lead a small team of College and Career Success staff who are primarily responsible.

* Maintains a persistent focus on the College & Career Youth Initiatives at the Public Education Foundation, particularly the alignment of all youth recruitment/retention efforts in the STEP-UP Chattanooga initiative. * Recruitment & training: Plans, coordinates, and implements recruitment & training of STEP-UP Chattanooga interns, Camp College students.

* Communication – Conveying information persuasively in positive or negative situations.* Confidentiality –Adhering to established confidentiality policies and procedures.* Judgment – Willing to make “on the spot” independent decisions and exercise sound judgment.* Management skills –Exhibiting the ability to motivate and lead others, open to new ideas.
