Kanin Energy is an industrial decarbonization platform focused on developing projects using waste heat to power and other climate-friendly technologies.

Director on the waste-to-value investment team, with responsibilities ranging from origination, underwriting, acquisitions, and market development.

Worked as a key member of NRG Renew's Microgrids business unit to originate, develop and acquire US and international renewable microgrid projects and investments.

Member of the Energy and Environment team in the Global Real Estate Group. Responsibilities included reviewing opportunities in distributed solar, solar power purchasing agreements, energy efficiency and fuel cell technologies for the real estate portfolio.

Designed a pilot project in Jordan which aimed to advise national policy-makers on water, energy, food issues and develop capacity-building tools to inform effective resource management for the country.

As an Associate in the Energy and Carbon Markets division, the role involved greenhouse gas verifications and compliance, energy modeling, policy analysis and consulting on voluntary carbon markets.
