Responsible for performing analysis of documented user requirements and directing or assisting in the design of test plans in support of the Marine Corps Enterprise Information Technology Services (MCEITS) applications. I have served as a project lead in the Testing and Certification Office (TCO) of the Farm Services Agency (FSA) for over 9 years, responsible for functional testing, regression testing, and automated testing for numerous multi-million dollar Farm Service Agency programs administered by National, State, and County Offices. I have a comprehensive knowledge of testing methodologies and practices, and have used this knowledge to lead and coordinate major testing efforts. The testing that I have performed has required a wide range of IT capabilities. These include reviewing user requirements, design documentation, screen mockups, database models, and producing software testing deliverables in HP Quality Center (test plans, test cases, and test results) that are complete and accurate, and adequately test all of the required functionality for the business software application, while complying with departmental operational standards and security and privacy regulations. I also have extensive knowledge of the interoperability and interfaces with other departmental software. I have been an active participant at meetings with team members, developers, project managers, Washington DC sponsors, and managers, voicing concerns and making many suggestions for improvement. I am responsible for validating that files and database updates reflect the correct information, and provides verification of an audit trail for determining user updates and modifications. I am proficient in utilizing Microsoft SQL Server 2008 to accomplish this. I have prepared system certification release documentation and worked with the Configuration Management Group to coordinate the installation of new or updated software. I have the knowledge and ability to execute automated testing scripts, and have worked closely with our team’s automated tester to provide input into what test cases would be best to automate.

With the Risk Management Agency (RMA), I was responsible for performing manual testing and for documentation of test cases using Mercury Test Director. This project involved a total rewrite of RMA’s legacy system, which will improve efficiency and completely automate all of the numerous subsystems that are a part of RMA.With the Farm Services Agency, Testing and Certification Office, I was responsible for leading the manual testing effort and providing status to our team for the Tobacco Transition Payment Program. I was also responsible for writing test cases and documenting defects using the Rational Test Manager and Rational ClearQuest tools.

With the Farm Services Agency, Testing and Certification Office, I was responsible for manual testing of software for numerous farm subsidy programs, including the Milk Income Loss Contract program, writing test cases, and documenting defects using the Rational Test Manager and Rational ClearQuest tools.

This was a Contract position working with AT&T. I was responsible for developing and implementing integration test plans which tested software changes on AT&T’s critical call routing systems.

Responsible for the design and implementation of the Integrated Routing Assignment System – Routing Data (IRAS-RD) subsystem. This system was designed to mechanize much of the routing administrative processes. Responsible for maintaining and overseeing the monthly production schedule for all PICS batch processes. System Analyst Designer, July 1985 to November 1988.
