We assisted James Driskell in a ten-year wrongful murder conviction investigation. Our evidence aided in his release from prison and was presented at the subsequent inquiry held in Winnipeg before the Honourable Patrick LeSage. He is the former Chief Justice of Ontario. He identified a number of problems with the conviction and one of the problems that he identified was the crown failed to respond to our requests accurately. In 1994, we acted for Mr. Frank Ostrowski in his wrongful murder conviction investigation, gathering evidence that was instrumental and at the "forefront" in his release from prison. This investigation demonstrated other individuals had a motive, means and opportunity to commit the murder.
