I am an experienced Test Engineer with over two decades of expertise in production, testing, and service within the consumer electronics industry. My career began at Suunto Oy in 1999, where I transitioned from assembly line work to a global role in service and training, and eventually became a Test Engineer in 2002. In this role, I was responsible for product testing during the R&D phase, developing test procedures, and designing or sourcing specialized testing equipment. My testing experience includes conducting underwater dive tests and other advanced product validations. Throughout my career, I have been involved in international projects, providing service training and technical expertise to teams around the world. I have worked in diverse environments, delivering practical solutions and ensuring high standards in product development and testing. In addition to my work at Suunto, I have a background in precision mechanical work, having served as a watchmaker in London at both Cartier Ltd and The Watch Gallery. My time in the watchmaking industry honed my attention to detail and my ability to work with complex mechanical assemblies, skills that have seamlessly translated into my work in electronics testing and assembly. I am passionate about combining practical, hands-on skills with innovative technology, and I thrive in roles where I can contribute to high-quality product development and testing.
