As a member of a 3-person business controlling team, my role was to be the main controlling business partner for Sales Director, Head of Air Freight and Head of Ocean Freight. My primary task was to support company's two core divisions - Air Freight, Ocean Freight - by providing comprehensive and regular business analyse. In addition, I was responsible of:• Creating profitability, performance and other ad hoc analysis for product management teams, sales management and senior management team• Developing new reporting and analysing tools organisation-wide in order to improve reporting reliability and rapidity• Process improvement, especially forecasting and cost management processes• Coordinating, measuring and reporting finance and controlling department's performance improvement initiatives as part of company's global improvement programI was described to be a team member with "an analytical and profit oriented mindset combined with strong capability of utilize and develop IT tools".Achievements:• Development and implementation of a new forecasting process and forecasting tool for both Air Freight and Ocean Freight divisions. As Metso Global Reporting Specialist my main responsibility was to collect and ensure reliability of global customer reporting data (+100k data items Monthly), as well as update reporting layout to meet the modern business demands. By developing new Excel and Access based tools, manual workload to collect fragmented data was reduced significantly which led to standardized process that was successfully outsourced to global service center.Achievements:• Data Quality KPI's improved from 49,81 % (Bef. 2013 average) to 99,87 % (January - September 2013 average) • Standardized process that enabled and lead to a successful outsourcing to a global service provider
