Having grown up in Canada with South-Asian heritage, Janik is a director who believes in creating authentic work with conceptually driven and emotive imagery, allowing his work to feel human and personal. Being a world traveler who has experienced many cultures with a natural gravitation towards philosophy and spirituality, he has blended these elements into his work to leave a deeper and more meaningful impact on a viewer. Janik comes from a self-taught background fuelled by a passion for storytelling. He draws influence from a traditional style of filmmaking but aims to have a modern interpretation. He works as a Creative Director for personal brands such as Karan Aujla and Dave Mann, helping facilitate their brand vision.
