In 2021 I officially created my own company, Real Communication, and work as a contracted communication consultant for Rémy Cointreau in Africa, India and the Middle East. My role has expanded from overseeing PR activities within the zone (managing PR agencies, content creation, campaign launches, tracking and reporting) to also encompassing internal communications (a monthly team newsletter, reporting within the company, and external communication (social media content and a quarterly distributor / partner newsletter).

I joined the Friday Street Club as a contractor, working exclusively on LOUIS XIII Cognac in South Africa. Witihin a few months I took on more clients including the SAB Foundation, Cheapflights and Wonga. In May 2018 I took on the responsibility for overseeing all PR activities for LOUIS XIII and other Rémy Cointreau brands such as Rémy Martin VSOP and XO as well as The Botanist Gin in Africa, India and the Middle East.I worked exclusively on the Rémy Cointreau portfolio of brands within AMEI from 2018 to present, overseeing PR activities (print and digital), reporting and internal and external communications.

I consulted Leapfrog Property Group regarding their corporate communications - creating corporate videos and press releases and comments on behalf of the CEO, as well as an internal newsletter. I also researched and wrote regular press features on relevant topics (such as the Budget Speech, new rental legislation and the like), securing coverage on Fin24, Private Property, IOL Property, Property 24, in The Citizen, Business Day, Beeld and more.

I was privileged to be working with some of the most exclusive luxury brands in the world - ensuring that message is communicated in a relevant, creative and intelligent manner.

I worked at MediaVision as an Online PR meaning I wrote content for various online blogs. I also learned quite a bit about SEO, social media marketing and campaigns - seriously updating my knowledge of all things web related.

I direct inserts for two shows: the daily breakfast show Expresso and Hello Doctor (soon to be on on Sunday nights) - both on SABC 3

A magazine program looking at the lives and homes of local celebrities. •My role also included research for various projects•Producing interviews for studio and on location (everything from decorating the set, finding and booking guests, directing presenters, writing interviews and scripts)•Translation of interviews from French to English.
