Originally a Speech and Drama teacher, I switched careers and trained to become a Market Research Interviewer nineteen years ago. My expertise as an interviewer has been honed under the guidance of the Research Managers, Executives and Directors at B2B International, and I have remained with the company since I joined in 2000.I became one of the first in-depth interviewers on B2B's team, and have worked on a very diverse array of projects for many different clients within all industry sectors (Medical, Agricultural, Oil&Gas, Mining, Construction, Finance and Aviation - to name but a few!). I have therefore spoken to respondents in a variety of locations, including Australasia, USA and Canada, Europe and Scandinavia.I'm more often than not asked to work on more complex and challenging research projects that can be very interesting and involve lengthy, probing discussions with senior decision-makers within organisations.I am a confident interviewer, and I enjoy the whole process that goes into conducting a discussion, from making initial contact with an individual, through to setting up the appointment before finally conducting the interview itself. I like to think that I build up a good rapport with respondents, and that I have, over the years, developed excellent skills that I can utilise for probing to get the best, most relevant and insightful responses from them.I love the variety of different projects that I am called upon to participate in, and that keeps my work fresh, and keeps me up to speed with changes in the world at large: I never stop learning!I am naturally gregarious, and I like to think that I have excellent communication, language and people skills.
