I am passionate about helping those who believe they are broken to find healing from the legacy of their past. As CEO and co-founder of Destiny Haven, we have helped over 250 women who have suffered childhood trauma and abuse that has led to life-controlling issues alcoholism, addictions, eating disorders, self-harm, and other complex trauma and post-traumatic stress disorders. Having overcome years of addiction personally in 1994, my life was turned around when I spent time with my husband and baby in a residential program. My years of studies were deliberately designed to design a program that included all the components that I wished existed in the multiple programs I attended seeking help (but never found freedom from my addiction to heroin). I spent years training to prepare me to open a residential program for women to come to. Destiny Haven provides a unique program; a family environment of safety and security and belonging; a place to discover your unique potential and a place to learn to dream and believe for the impossible in my life - Freedom from life-controlling issues is possible and living a fulfilling life is what we are all created for. This is what my husband I are committed to providing - a place for women to discover their full potential and their unique destinies.
